As a
Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution or financial forecasting services or activities to limit costs and improve accuracy, customer service or safety.
This position is onsite and based in our Spokane, WA facility.
What You Will Do
- Manage day-to-day supply and logistics activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organization’s supply chain
Manage materials planning and control, procurement, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport, and distribution
Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet customer needs
Manage the movement, storage, or processing of inventory to ensure a cost-effective flow of activities
Develop and implement schedules and procedures
Allocate resources to meet targets in areas such as transit and delivery times; inventory levels; purchasing, warehousing and storage costs
Liaise with functional and operations area managers to ensure supply activities are integrated with other parts of the business
Lead, direct, evaluate and develop staff to ensure resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met
Responsible for inventory control program and process flow covering the end-to-end supply chain solution
Optimize warehouse functions
Actively involved in data capturing and audit programs, physical inventory, cycle counting, delivery and non-conformance material flow process
Drive supply chain initiatives between sales and operations
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Supply Chain Management or related field and 2 years of Supply Chain experience, OR Associates degree and 6 years of Supply Chain experience
Supply chain experience within a manufacturing facility
Knowledge of manufacturing/production processes
Experience with or knowledge of raw materials planning/production scheduling processes
Ability to lead, train and mentor employees on a personal and professional level
Working knowledge of SAP ERP system
Working knowledge of Automotive Customer Portals, ASN/EDI transmissions
Ability to use self-initiative and be able to work well under pressure
Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills necessary to work in a cooperative team environment

Expected pay for this role is between $93,800.00 to $156,400.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
