Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification and ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption or underage drinking
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service to customers
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Familiarity with operating a POS system for order processing and payment handling
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and handling cash transactions
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize customer needs in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in food service, banquet, or restaurant settings is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling safety guidelines is desirable
