THE ROLE Position: Hotel Maintenance Technician (Full-time) – 106 Jefferson, Curio by Hilton ($300 sign-on bonus) Flexible schedule available with the following options: Full-time: Compressed 4-day work week 10-hour shifts & 3 days off or 5-day week 8-hour shifts PTO, Sick time, Great Hotel discounts, Free Lunches, Daily Pay, Personal recognition and medical, vision and dental benefits for our full-time team members. $300 sign on bonus. POSITION PROFILE: Preventive maintenance of guest rooms and equipment as well as any duties assigned by the Chief Engineer. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION: · Must be able to push/pull lift and/or carry up to 50lbs with or without the assistance of moving equipment. · Ability to stand for 8 hours, work from a ladder as needed, bend, stretch and kneel to work on various equipment. · Complete preventive guest room maintenance to meet the brands standards for quality and guest satisfaction. · Work in a team setting as well as independently complete tasks assigned by management and staff. · Have knowledge of basic tools and equipment used in a typical hospitality setting. (Screw drivers, wrenches, drills, electrical meters, exc.) · Ability to paint and touch-up various items to include furniture, doors, walls and ceilings. · Maintain a professional appearance and clean workspace during your shift. DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school education or equivalent experience. Experience: 1 year experience in a related field. Skills and Abilities: The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of building maintenance to include preventive guest room maintenance, painting, light plumbing and electrical and minor sheet rock repairs. The ability to work as a team to reach goals set by the company and department manager while providing the highest level of guest satisfaction and service. SIGN-ON BONUS: New team members are eligible for a sign-on bonus of ($300), which is payable to you in two installments. The first installment of ($150) will be paid to you on the pay period following 90 days of your employment and the second installment will be paid on the pay period following your 180 days of employment. Your sign-on bonuses are contingent upon meeting satisfactory performance standards. BENEFITS PACKAGE Competitive Salary Daily Pay!
