Jefferson - Center City, Philadelphia, PA is Hiring an Education Project Administrator - Full Time Near Philadelphia, PA

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Manage and coordinate CME/CPD functions related to regularly scheduled series and other educational activities seeking CE accreditation and implementation

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manages and implements planned Jefferson accredited CE activities from conception, through needs assessment, educational design, budget creation, funding, and post activity reporting in accordance with accreditation and other requirements, educational best practices, and approved budgets
  • Implements activity-related fund raising strategies and follow fund management processes related to educational grants and exhibit support of activities.
  • Manages regularly scheduled series (RSS) processes at Jefferson.
  • Guide directors through the accreditation documentation processes and timelines.

Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Follows appropriate training, monitoring, evaluation, and monitoring processes, advising clients of requirements, trouble-shooting concerns, billing, and maintain compliance with accrediting bodies requirements.
  • Advises activity planners on all matters related to a proposed/planned activity, including marketing, funding, educational, and evaluation strategies; implement strategies.
  • Develops and /or edit materials related to fund raising strategies and other activity related materials, including marketing, handouts, etc.
  • With fiscal analyst, develop activity budgets, obtain course planner approvals, and then monitor activity for compliance within budgetary restraints. Keep course planners informed as to financial status of activity. Oversee financial health of assigned educational activities.
  • Utilize OCME Learning Management System (OCME LMS) to create, promote, and manage OCME educational activities; to track and process registrations/attendance/credit records; and evaluate activities
  • Direct meeting management tasks. Assign selected activity-related tasks to other OCME staff, maintaining responsibility for timely and accurate completion of tasks and completion and quality of activity provided.
  • Liaise with internal and external staff in the development, funding, implementation, monitoring and reporting on all assigned activities.
  • Assure adherence to all accreditation requirements and reporting, legal and regulatory requirements, and University policies related to approved activities. Assure completion of required documentation

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION:

Certification as Healthcare CPD Professional (CHCP), Healthcare CPD Associate, or CMP a plus

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 3 years experience in academic, healthcare, or professional education related settings with practical knowledge of CE accreditation requirements or adult education theory, and experience in management of continuing professional education programs
