Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the MedSurg unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage complex patient cases and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documentation, and reports.
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, conditions, and post-treatment care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
• Minimum 1 years of recent MedSurg nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different healthcare settings and work collaboratively in a team.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
