Jean Simpson Personnel Services is Hiring a Shipping Clerk Near Longview, TX
Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips and shipping labels
Coordinate shipments with carriers to ensure timely delivery of products
Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness
Maintain shipping records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures
Communicate with internal teams to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve any sipping issues
Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient with shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and Google
Forklift certification a plus
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
