Provides direction and leadership for the assigned project or work program across all phases of the project lifecycle, including preconstruction, construction, project closeout and postconstruction client relationship management.

Develops and executes full business and strategic planning for the work program in support of company strategy and KSIs.

Construction management of requirements and sequences of the following types of Semiconductors Fab and cleanrooms: ballroom and flow through; bay and chase; sort floors; and automated material handling systems.

Oversee completion and advancement of cleanroom construction protocols: cleanroom construction methods and materials; micro contamination; gel trac, pressure plenums, bubbles, ducted supply and return; cleanroom ceiling systems and raised metal floor systems; HVAC system types to support cleanrooms and the support equipment to include utilization of building and cleanroom systems to achieve and maintain humidity, temperature, pressurization, and airflow.

Manage construction projects involving life safety systems, leak detection, and smoke; OSHA requirements; and working facilities managements systems, controls systems and Fab supporting systems such as: Process mechanical, wastewater treatment, scrubber exhaust, bulk specialty gas and purity water systems.

Oversee and manage start up and commissioning to include Cx schedules to sequence the cleanroom systems and areas through protocol levels and certifications.

Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.

Builds close relationships with the subcontractor community to develop long-term partners who meet SMS criteria and align with company philosophy and best practice.

Leads in preconstruction discussions with clients at a leadership level.

Leads internal team and collaborates with external partners to develop contractual obligations, such as complete estimates with contingencies, schedules, constructability, staffing plan and business plan.

Oversees and is accountable for all components, such as schedule, budget, relationships, and staffing, of project and schedule review throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Ensures staffing levels are sufficient, relative to contractual commitments, schedules, staffing levels and constraints.

Plans and adapts resource management plans as needed to ensure proper staffing levels and results.

Undertakes financial responsibility for an entire work program to minimize risk and variance and to maximize contributions to company revenue and margin.

Depending on the project, supervises 25-30 team members to include Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Schedulers, Preconstruction and Commissioners along with Trader partners.

Education and Experience:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a closely related field.

Eight years as a Construction Manager, Site Engineer, or related.

Demonstrated experience in overall construction management of hi-tech manufacturing facilities.

Demonstrated experience in managing electrical, control, and security systems installation and handover, including chillers area, and dry and wet mechanical rooms and electrical rooms with mechanical, electrical, control, system integration, and security supporting systems.

Demonstrated experience in managing construction of cleanrooms and managing work in existing cleanrooms.

Demonstrated ability to manage process, waste, exhaust, and water systems.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of experience, 10 years of experience in the requirements listed is also acceptable.
