Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. As a Building Maintenance employee, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting buildings and equipment, identifying issues, and making necessary repairs
- Conduct preventive maintenance on various systems, including HVAC/R, electrical, and hydraulics
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Maintain and repair industrial equipment, including logic controllers
- Welding tasks using stick welding techniques
- Conduct inspections to identify potential safety hazards and address them promptly
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
-Employee will be exposed to trash, debris, insects, and vermin
Requirements:
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC/R and hydraulics
- Proficiency in electrical work and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance and repair
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High level of physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
