SNACK BAR ATTENDANT

This position requires employees to operate the snack bar for the golf course. This entails making sandwiches and light bartending.

GENERAL DUTIES

Set up snack bar for operation.

Prepare sandwiches, hot food and drinks for golfer.

Serve food and beverages to golfers.

Prepare specials for sale.

Operation of the cash register.

Help serve food from service bar, if applicable.

Wash glasses and other bar equipment.

Prepares garnishes for mixed drinks, if applicable.

Keep coffee brewed, prepare sandwiches, hot dogs, slice meat as necessary.

Restock bar area between shifts including straws, napkins, stirrers, cups, lids, etc.

Responsible for cleaning up kitchen area, equipment and utensils.

Balancing cash receipts to register and completing proper paperwork.

Assist in quality control.

Assist in weekly and monthly inventories.

Keep snack bar and entire restaurant area stocked and up to sanitary standards.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of food preparation and sanitary standards.

Knowledge of sales methods.

Knowledge of the game of golf.

Ability to communicate and establish good working relationships with fellow employees and customers.

Ability to do occasional lifting as position requires.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent with food service experience. Must participate in the Responsible Vendors Training Program.
