Reporting to the Customer Care Warehouse Manager, this position coordinates key activities in a multi-product line distribution center for JBT Corporation in Alpharetta, GA, which on average processes $10M order shipments to customer destinations monthly.

• Maintains daily shipping and receiving schedules.
• Schedules freight pickup with FedEx, UPS, DHL, or customer arranged forwarders.
• Prepares and maintain reports on various warehouse activities such as inventory records, training records, and shipping documents.
• Works closely with the customer service and project management teams to communicate status of orders and resolve issues.
• Keeps track of warehouse supplies and places orders
• Assist in scheduling of warehouse trainings, corporate audits.

The Opportunity ...

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment required. 
• Experience in scheduling and arranging logistics preferable.
• Must be comfortable working with MS Word and Excel.
• Must have ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
• Flexibility to work some overtime during weekdays, and to a lesser degree, mandatory weekend work occasionally.

Work Environment:

Spends approximately 60% of time in a warehouse environment including an inbound, pick, inventory count, and outbound environment. Remaining 40% of time in an office or meeting environment. Exposed to possible shop or site installation hazards including heavy equipment, shop traffic, uneven/slippery footing, inclement weather, etc. Installation sites require appropriate safety measures such as hard hat, safety shoes and safety glasses.

Physical Demands:

Frequent sitting and operating computer. Frequent walking and standing in a warehouse environment. Manual lifting up to 50lbs. Fast paced environment with multiple priorities, constant change and a variety of problems and people involved.
