CIMCORP is Hiring a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator Near Alpharetta, GA

The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse and intralogistics activities at the Cimcorp USA, Inc. facility. This involves overseeing processes and practices for shipping and receiving, storage, inventory, and general component movement and distribution within and between Atlanta and other Cimcorp facilities and customer sites. The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator will ensure that productivity targets are achieved and all warehouse processes are running efficiently.

Details of duties:

  • Maintain physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; ensuring efficient space utilization, and the security of the warehouse space.
  • Ensure all necessary shipping supplies are fully stocked and maintain this inventory.
  • Ensure warehouse operation is clean, safe, secure, and efficient.
  • Handle daily material arrivals efficiently- check and verify quantity/product based on PO, mark and shelve materials, and record information in the company’s ERP system.
  • Check material availability daily for planned Shipments, pick, mark, and pack materials efficiently, and record stock transactions timely to ERP-system.
  • Direct delivery trucks and help drivers load and unload goods.
  • Perform physical activities in order to load, unload, sort, and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment.
  • Contact trucking and courier vendors to make shipping arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery.
  • Create needed shipping documents.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory count and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Order stock items as required and ensure sufficient inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure quality standards and procedures are followed when performing and documenting quality inspections on all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Be proactive in the development of new processes, systems, features, or products in order to meet the needs of customers and potentially open new business ventures/opportunities.
  • Observe and report possible improvement ideas to make working at the warehouse safer, higher quality, create efficiency, and help implement new working methods on daily work.

Skill/knowledge requirements:

  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent inventory control and management skills.
  • General knowledge of Freights, Courier services, HS codes, customs requirements, and processes.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change and able to handle multiple and conflicting work priorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and delegation skills with the ability to supervise and lead a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-function team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to deal courteously and effectively with all levels of staff, potential clients, vendors, partners, and any other potential stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills, discretion, diplomacy, and a demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment when handling confidential/sensitive information in communication with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and the Internet.
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or Warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Spoken/written knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, standards, regulations, public safety, and security.
  • General knowledge of automation and robot technologies including mechanical systems, electrical systems, and software systems.

Qualifications/certifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree specializing in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a warehouse management role.
