The Opportunity ...

Assist with Quality and Testing Trials

• Set up equipment and product in preparation for trials
• Conduct and document seal trials and basic shelf-life trials
• Conduct various types of trials to answer packaging questions for internal use and external customers
• Build relationships with packaging material suppliers and other resources such as Universities and technical colleges

Production Materials Management

• Receive materials from shipping
• Labeling and filing into AP Boxes
• Updating Production Planning tools
• Weekly maintenance of materials
• Deliver trays to relevant departments when needed

Testing Materials Inventory Management

• Tray Archive (Historical inventory)
• Test Materials (For Testing, Demos, Trade Shows)
• Bulk Materials (For FAT's, Line Testing)
• Trial Plate Storage (Engineering control plates)

Test Kitchen / Trials Maintenance

• Ensure test kitchen / Trials area is kept clean and organized
• Ensure tools and products are organized
• Ensure consumables are stocked
• Help ensure a safe working environment

Job Requirement and Qualifications

• Holding or perusing a degree in Packaging or Food Science, or similar field
• Able to understand spoken and written instructions
• Ability to write technical documents
• Critical thinking
• Good communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Pass background check requirements
• Pass drug screening requirements 

Physical Requirements

• Work in a climate-controlled factory
• Stand continuously for long periods of time
• Wearing of safety clothing and equipment is required
• Able to kneel, bend, crouch and climb ladders to access various parts of a machine
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Work Environment

• Air-conditioned warehouse with concrete flooring. Working around machinery and forklifts
