Overview

Lead all aspects of frontend development including framework, software design, and code rollout. Perform application development involving a React frontend application with Python Microservice backend and Azure services including Synapse, Cosmos DB, Data Bricks, and API Gateway. Create new solutions that meet customers' needs and play an integral role in executing JBT’s digital strategy and development into a best-in-class, technically enabled OEM. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency. Lead frontend participation in Agile software delivery process and work with other development teams across the product organization. Set product specifications of quality and user experience and lead continuous improvement efforts to meet standards. Ensure high quality and sustainable code by leveraging best-in-class technical practices. Address and debug complex application issues and lead preventative and root cause analysis efforts to minimize future issues. Collaborate with product leadership, UX design, UX research, ADA compliance, business, and cyber security teams to ensure product quality. Utilize programming skills to create software. Create front-end web applications using JavaScript and Typescript. Create user interfaces using React. Use serverless technologies including Cosmos DB. Perform system architecture design using cloud services.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or closely related field and six (6) years of experience, which includes:

• Six (6) years of experience using JavaScript and Typescript to create frontend web applications;
• Six (6) years of experience creating user interfaces and Digital Signages using React;
• Five (5) years of experience utilizing programming skills to create OTT applications using React Native, BrightScript and TVML;
• Five (5) years of experience performing system architecture design using cloud services; and
• Three (3) years of experience using serverless technologies including Azure functions, Databricks and databases like Cosmos DB and Azure Postgres.
• Up to 20% domestic and international travel required.
