Position Summary: |

This position reports to theOccupational Health Manager and assists byproviding appropriate, compassionate, quality care to Partners for both occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries and documenting all care provided in a professional and effective mannervia company and state protocols. This position is may be utilized to cover Day or Evening shift and may be needed from time to time on weekends when the plant runs production.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Primary duty is to provide routine and emergency medical careto partners at the workplaceaccording to WV Scope of Practice.
Adheres to health management protocols, medical directives, policies and procedures,and physician standing orders according toWVscope of practice while following guidelines indicated by Occupational Health Manual.
Conductstasks in a professional and effective manner and within legal, ethical, and moral standards of care.
Adheres to HIPAA compliance of confidentiality of Partner's personal health information
Establishesand maintainsgood working relationships with employees
Adheres to all state and federal regulations including OSHA,Worker's Compensation, etc.
Worksclosely with TPA and area medical community in dealing with WV Workers Compensation claims
Reportsall Lost Time and Recordable injuries to Safety Manager and OHM
Knowslocation of medical equipment and manuals and will perform checks and calibrations of equipment as scheduled
Must obtain certification in urine drug screen and breath alcohol collections.
PerformsPre-Employment, Reasonable Suspicion & DOTand Non- DOTdrug and alcohol testing using appropriate forms
PerformsPostOffer medical assessments withuse of supporting forms
AccessesInternet & useofPPC programs Sharepoint & Risk Partner
Participates inhealth and safety teaching ofannualBlood borne Pathogen training and monthly inservices and training as required by OHM & PPC
Notifies Occupational Health Managerof any pertinent physical and emotional changes of symptoms presented by Partners
Keepsdepartmentclean and orderly.
Putsaway med supply orders and re-stock supplies as needed

There are no supervisory duties associated with this job.

Must becertified andefficient in the performingurine drug screeningsand breath alcohol collections.Must have computer skills including spreadsheets,word processing, Sharepoint,PPC programsand Internet.Must understand WV Worker’s Compensation requirements.Must understand OSHA requirements including, but not limited to Blood Borne Pathogens, Ergonomics, types of injuries, etc.
Language Skills:Must possess the ability to communicaterespectfully with all partners, members of the medical community and all health organizations..
