JBC is Hiring an IT Field Service Technician (On- Call Contractor) Near Wichita Falls, TX
Duties:
- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Mac OS on desktops and laptops.
- Set up and troubleshoot network connectivity, including LAN, VPN, and firewall configurations.
- Respond to service requests and incidents in a timely manner using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Conduct hardware and software upgrades as needed.
- Provide end-user training and support for Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Mac OS), and software applications.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
