Jefferson Wells is seeking a Tax Consultant to support Sales & Use and Property Tax activity at an Akron-area client. This role is hybrid and is a 3 month contract engagement.

JOB SUMMARY: The Tax Consultant will be responsible for Sales & Use Tax and Property Tax compliance. These duties include but are not limited to preparing, gathering, and analyzing data associated with all sales & use tax compliance for all online sales. Prepare all necessary tax related accounting entries for final approval.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Pull all necessary details to create proper uploads of all sales data for compliance filings.
• Maintain complete and accurate records for audit purposes.
• Be able to create and provide support for all required accounting entries.
• Prepare all assigned account reconciliations with detailed supporting documentation.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Years of Job-Related Experience Required: 3 years of experience
