JBa Land Management, a commercial landscaping company, is seeking reliable and qualified commercial grounds maintenance workers. You will be mowing, edging, and weedeating large areas of turf with commercial zero turn mowers and handheld equipment.
Overall Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Provide high quality and efficiency in performing all landscape maintenance tasks
- Mulch & Rock installation
- Shrub/plant removal & installation
- Tree planting, tree trimming
- Operating chain saws and power tools
- Landscape pruning
- Raking
- Knowledgeable of use of basic maintenance hand tools and power equipment
- Responsible for ensuring tools and equipment are in good working order and properly maintained
- Responsible for loading and unloading of truck and trailer used in landscape maintenance operations
Requirements:
- Knows how to operate mowing equipment
- Able to perform labor-intensive work on a regular basis
- Valid state Driver's License with transportation to our shop.
- Ability to follow verbal directions & work efficiently
- Positive attitude and professionalism on the job site
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Able to work in inclimate weather
Starting Pay:
- $16/hr, wage based on experience and driver license
- Wage increases based on reliability, willingness to learn, shows improvement
