How You Will Make an Impact At Reading Truck, the Program Manager will be responsible for organizing multiple commercialization / product launch programs and activities for the organization. Tasked with developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long-term goals. Leading the development of project plans and budgets, and working closely with other functional areas to identify growth opportunities. The Nuts and Bolts Develop programs to support the launch of new products to meet the strategic direction of the organization Develop a budget and operating plan for the programAnalyze program risks and develop a plan for mitigation and/or eliminationDevelop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvementManage a cross-functional project team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilitiesEnsure goals are met in areas including, but not limited to, customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performanceImplement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achievedMeet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on servicesProduce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycleWork on the overall business strategy with the marketing team Required Credentials Three (3) years of experience as a Program Manager in a manufacturing environment Experience with quality systems including ISO9001, APQP, PDCA (A3), and other industry wide standards Experience in the truck body building/up-fit, automotive, or related industries is preferred Proven experience in program management, stakeholder management, and managing a cross-functional team Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field of study; Engineering degree preferred How We Make an Impact At Reading Truck, we have more than 65 years of industry leadership in the manufacture, distribution, and enhancement of work truck bodies.
