Most start their leadership career in this production associate/assembler role.The Nuts and Bolts:Read and interpret: orders and specifications, blueprints, instructions and labels which may contain hazardous warnings and cautionsCut wood or metals to specific sizes using a variety of saws, sheers and cuttersFasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or fastenersOperate pneumatic tools and hand toolsPerform set up of machine and preventative maintenance as requiredExamine finished project for quality and defectsPerform safety and quality checksWork and adhere to all safety policiesRequired Credentials:Must have at least 6 years of previous experience in manufacturingMust be 18 years oldBasic math, tape measurement, and computer skillsWorking with hand and power toolsReading and interpreting blueprintsPrevious experience working on truck bodies (preferred but not required)Construction experience is a plusHigh School Diploma or equivalent GED (preferred but not required)You Must Be Able to:This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment.
