The Restaurant Manager manages the restaurant’s Food and Beverage operation by ensuring consistent delivery of a quality guest experience that enhances Jay Peak Resort brand and standards, meeting financial recognition control requirements and creating a work environment that promotes recognition and development of associates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises up to 30 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be Vermont Department of Liquor Control and ServSafe certified. Opportunity to attend the seminar will be provided in some cases.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent customer service skills required. Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
