Schedule: Monday - Friday, and possible weekends / Flexible, varies based on consumer schedule

Full Time, 30 hours per week.

Job Description: We are seeking an energetic, patient, thoughtful, and outgoing to support & assist an individual in the surrounding community. You will teach all community safety & awareness, social interactions & self-help skills. Provide job coaching and intern support through the Employment Services Program for people in various employment/internship environments, locations, and with varying schedules and support needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will work hands-on to support and assist individuals to be successful on the job/internship.
• Will adjust coaching supports, intensity, and frequency depending on the person’s support needs.
• The person will be trained to conduct task analysis, develop and implement tools and techniques individually to each person, and provide the support outlined by a collaboration with the employee, JNCS, and the employer.
• Provide the necessary accommodations to support an individual with various challenges (behavioral, physical, communication, etc.) within their home and community
• Support the individual to establish a daily/weekly schedule of activities.
• Act as a mentor and role model for socially acceptable and culturally valued ways to interact and support each other to be successful
• Participate hands-on in all activities
• Assist and support the person to maintain their own personal safety and well-being
• Provide information to family members about the unique needs of the individual to assist in the building of a more cohesive family unit.
• Comply with all policies and procedures of the organization and public locations of activities
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Work Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years of job coaching experience in a variety of employment settings
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation & current auto insurance (may be preferred but not required)
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years of training experience required
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively

• Computer proficiency, familiarity with mobile applications
• Familiarity with using Zoom and/or other video calling applications
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Understands organization culture and values.
