Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals and ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility. Your role will involve both administrative tasks and direct patient care.

Duties:

- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

-Perform EKG's and hook up Holter Monitors

- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records and scanning medical records into the the electronic records chart

- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies

- Educate patients on procedures, medications, and self-care instructions

- Collect and process laboratory specimens for testing

- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred

- Previous experience working in a hospital or medical office setting is highly desirable

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to provide exceptional patient service with empathy and compassion

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
