Janek Performance Group is an award-winning, sales training and consulting firm partnering with clients in a variety of industries and business segments on improving their sales performance. Janek is growing and seeking to add a Marketing Coordinator to our Marketing Team.
The Marketing Coordinator, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, will provide comprehensive support to the Marketing team, encompassing a range of administrative tasks and support functions. This includes executing marketing strategies to bolster brand presence and stimulate business expansion. Integral to day-to-day operations, the role entails clerical duties, organizational support, marketing initiatives, and project management. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, coordination of marketing campaigns, and contribution to promotional activities development and implementation are key responsibilities. The ideal candidate possesses dynamic organizational abilities, creativity, and a fervent dedication to marketing. This role demonstrates independent decision making and is resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the following job functions, including but not limited to:
· Assist with marketing campaign launches by project managing marketing and advertising projects, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.
· Coordinate with marketing team to maintain an organized and up-to-date events and content calendar.
· Supports the team in the organization of events, trade shows, and webinars, including logistics, attendee registration, and post-event follow-up.
· Maintains CRM system to ensure data is being added accurately and updated regularly.
· Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
· Maintains an internal library of presentations and templates.
· Coordinates development and distribution of monthly newsletters.
· Develops and maintains prospect lists for marketing campaigns.
· Maintain an organized inventory of event supplies and marketing materials.
· Assist with purchasing event supplies and materials.
· Performs other related work as needed.
· Experience using virtual meeting software such as Zoom and Teams.

The ideal candidate for this role possesses exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. They are results-driven and customer-focused, with a keen eye for organization and attention to detail. Being well-versed in current and online marketing techniques and best practices is essential, along with strong project management abilities. Additionally, a minimum of one year of experience working in a marketing role is required. Knowledge of Salesforce and/or CRM systems is necessary, with familiarity with HubSpot or similar Marketing Automation systems being preferred. Proficiency in computer literacy, including extensive experience with Office Suite and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint, is expected. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively initiating, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks, is crucial. Moreover, they should demonstrate a sense of urgency and responsiveness to the needs of both internal clients and coworkers.
