General Job Description:
Excavator/ forklift operator working on Heavy Civil construction projects.
Job Functions:
The following duties are typical for this classification. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.
Other duties may be required and assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required to Perform Essential Functions:
Technical Knowledge:
This person must have the ability to communicate professionally, effectively with all employees on
construction site.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires a person to sit or stand for long periods of time; handle and manipulate objects on a
repetitive basis. Labor intensive work.
Environmental Adaptability:
Work outside in a construction environment with occasion to be inside.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Training and Experience:
High School diploma or GED with 5 years verifiable Excavation experience
