James Moore Advisory is searching for a Leader of JMA’s Technology Services entity (See https://technology.jmco.com). The Leader is responsible for the overall direction and management of the company including but not limited to setting strategy, overseeing operations, and building and maintaining customer relationships so company goals and financial obligations are met while ensuring legal compliance and adherence to corporate governance best practices. In addition, the Leader is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures and supervising the work of the company's employees with the help of other executives.

  • Data Protection
  • Technology Planning
  • Microsoft Exchange Services
  • Office 365 Migration

What you will do in this role:

  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of a strategic business plan including vision and mission for the service line under the guidance of the Board of Directors.
  • Drive revenue growth through innovative business development and marketing strategies.
  • Set, and deliver against, strategic and tactical priorities that align with business objectives as set by the Board of Directors.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the MSP team to ensure high standards of delivery and smooth running of our Managed Service engagements.
  • Monitor, manage, and optimize key MSP KPIs including profitability, billable utilization, revenue delivery (actual vs expected), margin, whilst identifying areas of improvement in relation to contractual compliance, customer satisfaction, processes and quality, and resource management.
  • Oversee full end-to-end management of the MSP lifecycle including, but not limited to proposals, framework negotiation and operational support, service escalation, client reviews and overall engagement with the customers.
  • Strong focus on collaborative decision making with peers and managers.
  • Lead all improvement initiatives related to reporting, monitoring and risk management.
  • Oversee and work closely with support divisions regarding contracts, invoicing, payment chasing, etc., being fully aware of any debt position within the division and ensuring all debtors fall within specified payment terms.
  • Prepare financial forecasts anticipated from each client relating to revenue, profit, and margin.
  • Build deep client partnerships by effectively and proactively managing client's expectations, challenges, and desired outcomes.
  • Lead and motivate staff, to enhance employee engagement and develop a high performing team.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of market and industry trends, for the purpose of developing new service offerings.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 2 years of executive business experience in a senior leadership role.
  • 5 years of experience as a leader in a Managed Services business environment.
  • 5 of experience in the field of cyber security.
  • Expert business and financial acumen skills with demonstrated market and product orientation.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and forecasting skills with an ability to develop a ‘big picture’ for the company.
  • Exceptional decision-making skills with a proven record of making well-informed decisions leading to success.
  • Advanced interpersonal and presentation skills including verbal and written communication skills with the ability to represent the company in front of any stakeholder and a proven record of successful negotiations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build high performance teams.
  • Strong aptitude in information processing, creative thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment with quickly shifting priorities while exercising cultural awareness.
