We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shipping and Logistics Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of experience in managing international and domestic shipments. The Shipping and Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the shipping processing department, handling hazardous material products, obtaining quotes, ensuring accurate and efficient product shipments, and working with the team to ensure all orders are shipped in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the shipping processing department to ensure smooth operations.

- Handle international and domestic shipments, including hazardous material products.

- Obtain shipping quotes and negotiate rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions.

- Ensure accurate and efficient packaging, labeling, and documentation of products for shipment.

- Work closely with the team to prioritize orders and ensure timely shipments.

- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any issues that may arise.

- Implement and maintain shipping and logistics procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.

- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, inventory, and customer service to meet shipping deadlines and customer requirements.

- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in shipping and logistics.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of five years of experience in international and domestic shipping, including handling hazardous material products.

- Proven track record of managing a shipping processing department and overseeing shipping operations.

- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, customs requirements, and international trade practices.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Proficiency in using shipping software and systems.

- Certification in hazardous materials handling (e.g., IMDG Code, IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations) is a plus.
