PTS Advance is Hiring an Environmental Project Manager Near Long Beach, CA

Our client is actively seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Project Manager to join their Building Sciences and Site Assessment groups.

You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects spanning the built environment, from commercial and residential developments to infrastructure and public facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with project managers and senior leaders to deliver high-quality, timely, and value-added environmental services to clients. This includes expertise in areas such as asbestos, lead, hazardous materials, site assessments, site remediation, and related environmental disciplines.
  • Conduct field work, including site inspections, sample collection, and environmental assessments.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and technical documents for client use, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Interface with clients at a technical level, leveraging strong communication skills to address concerns, provide updates, and offer expert advice.
  • Develop cost estimates and proposals for environmental projects, considering factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage assigned tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in engineering, environmental studies, or a related field.
  • Possession of Cal/OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) or Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST).
  • California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Lead certification.
  • Completion of the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training.
