Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Marketing Data Analyst”for the All-NewJ Resort. The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collaborate with organization leaders to identify and respond quickly to data analysis/reporting requirements.
• Collect data from primary and secondary sources.
• Use statistical methods and tools to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, patterns, and correlations and present actionable insights.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate analysis results, making complex data accessible and understandable.
• Develop visually appealing and informative charts, graphs, and dashboards to convey analytical results to non-technical audiences.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security by implementing best practices for data management and storage.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Pinpoint tends, correlations and patterns in complex data sets.

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

• Experience in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience in casino data strongly desired.
• Proven experience in a similar data analyst role.
• Expertise with data analysis, manipulation, and reporting tools, especially SQL
• Cognos knowledge strongly desired.
• Analytical thinking.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written.
