As a leader in the Food Manufacturing industry, we know that the key to our success is based on the commitment to excellence displayed by our team members.The Sanitation Operator maintains a high level of Food Safety and product quality by cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment, utensils, and facility.Some of what you'll do as a Sanitation Technician:Maintain cleaning and sanitation following the company Master Sanitation Program.Utilize chemicals and cleaning agents to clean and sanitize processing area walls, floors, and equipment.Utilize refuse and sanitation tools properly and safely.Removal of debris from the processing area.Communicate chemicals supply levels to management.Maintain plant safety.Clean and maintain sanitation equipment.Work independently with minimal supervision.Provide backup support for other duties as needed.Become certified as an electric pallet jack operator.Perform other duties as assigned.You'll be a great fit if you have:Sanitation experience in warehouse, kitchen, or plant a plus.An ability to use industrial-strength chemicals.The ability to understand and demonstrate safety procedures.The ability to push or pull heavy equipment.Excellent work habits in line with good manufacturing practices (GMP).An ability to work in a fast-paced environment.The ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.An ability to communicate effectively.Benefits:At Capitol Kitchen, your base wage is only a portion of your overall compensation package.
