Jackson & Ojeda, LLC is Hiring a Legal Receptionist Near Cheyenne, WY

We are seeking a competent and organized individual to join our team as a Full-Time Legal Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative and clerical tasks while providing exceptional support services to our Attorneys and Paralegal Staff. The Legal Receptionist will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our office. This position requires in person and no remote opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering and directing incoming calls on a multi-line phone system
  • Routing incoming calls related to current cases to the appropriate staff members
  • Intaking, screening, and scheduling potential new clients
  • Assisting individuals upon walk-in to the office
  • Maintaining, opening, and closing hard files and online files
  • Scanning and processing incoming and outgoing mail and court documents
  • Calendaring deadlines and appointments
  • Receiving payments and maintaining accurate records
  • Occasionally running errands to the courthouse and other locations as needed
  • Assisting with the signing of documents
  • Performing other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using office equipment and computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Legal office: 1 year (Required)
  • Receptionist/Administrative: 1 year (Required)
