The Billing Operations Director is responsible for the oversight of the professional billing function

for the Jackson Clinic, ensuring appropriate and timely coding, billing, and collections. This

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred but not required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical billing in a physician office or physician office related setting with at least 3 years of business off ice management.

Certification in Physician Coding with AAPC. Multi-line telephones, fax, computer, printer, copier, credit card equipment, typewriter, adding machine, billing and coding reference materials.

Excellent verbal and written communication required, telephone etiquette, customer relations’ skills, CPT and ICD Coding.

Computer literate. Manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary to utilize the PC and calculator; ability to sit for prolonged periods of time;

verbal communication and hearing ability to communicate with a multitude of patients and customers.
