About the Position: As a Student Success Navigator, your primary responsibility will be the retention and completion of students. You'll be the guiding light for our students, providing direct services to support their success through our Total Commitment to Student Success (TCS2) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students, focusing on retention, intervention, and completion goals.
  •  Assist in planning and executing retention-related events and outreach activities.
  •  Utilize tracking dashboards to monitor student progress and implement intervention strategies.
  •  Collaborate with faculty and staff to address early alert retention needs and develop academic recovery plans.
  • Educate students about available support services and resources to enhance their academic journey.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Valid Michigan Driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in office software and technology-related communication skills.
  •  Preferred: Master’s degree and previous experience in retention management or outreach.

A copy of Jackson College's Annual Security Report and Annual Fire Safety Report is available on the JC Campus Safety & Security website. Additionally, the report contains policies, available resources and information concerning personal safety, fire safety and reporting procedures for both crimes and fires.
