We are looking for an experienced Automotive Professional that understands the service department in depth! Family owned dealership for over 65 years with the employees to prove it!
Assistance Service Manager Responsibilities:
Ensure Service Advisors are performing proper walk arounds and upselling techniques on the service drive.
Assist with answering phone calls and writing up repair orders on the service drive
Work with Dispatcher to ensure that all issues are addressed promptly.
Monitor technician proficiency.
Report any known issues to service manager in order to find a quick resolution
Handle customer complaints when Service Manager is not present
Address customer concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.
Review Ford warranty Repair Orders to ensure that the proper op codes are being used and technician stories are suitable.
Resolve service department problems and improve service methods to increase productivity and customer service.
Monitoring department issues and client complaints to create methods to lessen recurring issues.
Auditing work and customer service to ensure the company's high standards, efficiency, and productivity goals are met.
Helping to train new employees in company procedures.
Report any areas for improvement to the Service Manager.
Provide backup for Service Manager when not present
