Jack Fry's is Hiring an Assistant Manager Near Louisville, KY

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant managements is a must.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant management principles and practices.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations.
- Comfortability with OpenTable and/or other reservations platforms.
- Competency with Excel a plus
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such email correspondence, reservation management, managing and maintaining accurate inventory.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- ServSafe and TIPS certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the standard of excellence in customer service that Jack Fry's is known for from the moment a guest contacts us to make a reservation through the completion of their visit.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, orienting, training, coaching, and counseling employees; effectively communicating job expectations; enforcing policies and procedures. Effectively manage onboarding paperwork.
  • Manage inventory control, including receiving, checking, and organizing deliveries.
  • Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.
  • Promote the restaurant by designing and posting to our various social media platforms; encouraging local businesses to hold social events at the restaurant.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Assist with roll out of new menus as necessary by gathering ingredients lists, updating online menus, taking pictures of new menu items (and sharing on social media), and ensuring a clear understanding of the allergens, cross contaminates and components of all menu items.
  • Understand and adhere to the regulations of the alcoholic beverage commission.
