JAC Products is Hiring a Picker Near Saline, MI
JAC Products is seeking a Picker to join our team in Saline, MI on 1st shift. As a Picker you will be responsible for material flow between plant floor and dock as well as picking finished goods and supplied components for Assembly and Molding business units.
Your Contributions:
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment
- Responsible for pulling material and delivering it to the dock.
- Must pull part numbers and quantities on assigned pick list.
- Responsible for checking all containers for correct part number and quantity.
- Complete pick list when material is on the pallet counted and rechecked for loading.
- Must organize and maintain all material handling supply equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, in addition to daily housekeeping, visual controls and workplace organization.
What you'll need as a Picker:
- Maintain a team-oriented working environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies and procedure manuals and operating instructions.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
- Ability to use various types of tools (manual, electric, pneumatic, etc.).
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of resins, materials and packaging products.
- Knowledge of safety equipment/procedures on all presses and machinery.
- Knowledge of lot control & lot control processes.
- Ability to pass the necessary testing to obtain a lift truck license.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of six (6) months in a like or similar position.
