We are seeking a Licensed practical Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will primarily Implement and document patient care and treatment regimen under supervision of an RN as MD order. You are a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who operates with great attention to detail and a big heart. You take pride in implementing patient care plans and are able to observe and communicate effectively in your patient's best interest. To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill in current nursing practices.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring, observing and implementing as per patient care plan
- Administer medications as per MD order and monitor patients for side effects or reactions
- Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes to unit manager/supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with the unit manager/supervisor
- Follow NYS Licensed Practical Nurse scope of practice
- Currently Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of New York
- Previous experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
- Valid NYS driver’s license
- First aid/CPR certification required
