J & J Staffing Resources is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Horsham, PA
Our client, a local Cardiology office is in search of a Medical Assistant. Certification is a plus but not mandatory. This is a Full Time position paying up to $18/hr with the possibility of permanent placement after probationary period.
*Pay is based upon experience!*
Hours are flexible, 8 hour shifts, one late night (7pm) and one early shift required (7am).
Job Responsibilities:
- Experience taking manual blood pressure
- Taking medical histories.
- Explaining treatment procedures to patients.
- Preparing patients for examinations.
- Assisting the physician during examinations.
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens.
- Performing basic laboratory tests.
- EKG experience a PLUS!
Job Requirements:
- Medical Assistant certification is a PLUS!
- High school degree or equivalent
- Proven work experience in a related environment
