J.F. Shea Family of Companies is Hiring a Digital Marketing Coordinator Near Charlotte, NC

The Digital Marketing Coordinator, under direction from the VP of Sales and Marketing, will assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of content for a variety of digital platforms and channels in support of Division marketing initiatives. More specifically, this individual will assist in the maintenance of the website, creation and implementation of external email and social campaigns, reporting and analytics, and management of the Division’s online reputation. This position is both creative and analytical in nature and requires strong written and verbal communication skills.  

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Previous experience in a continuous improvement environment a plus
  • 2 years Marketing and Event background preferred.
  • Knowledge of the home building and real estate industries a significant plus, but not required

DETAILED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and implement email marketing campaigns across the Division
  • Research and determine grass roots opportunities to grow SHCAR’s lead bank in a given submarket as new communities openi.e. publications, events, partnerships, sponsorships, PR opportunities, signage
  • Manage and ensure the accuracy of portfolio information on the company website, Internet Listing Services (i.e. Zillow), Yelp, Google My Business, Widen DAM and SharePoint
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of all social media activities, paid and organic, on a variety of channels
  • Support with reporting and analytics
  • Support with implementing and optimizing SEM and SEO campaigns
  • Conduct regular technical audits and liaise with Operations, IT and applicable outside vendors to help troubleshoot issues

·Reviews and utilizes market research to understand market requirements for existing and future communities

·An understanding of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information as it relates to traffic, sales and product offering and positioning.

·Thorough understanding of marketing media performance data in order to assess health of traffic trends and recommend solutions or plan adjustments as needed; regular evaluation of traffic trends per community to assess impact of tactics in place or to initiate, as needed

·Seeks new and effective ways to drive qualified traffic to support sales goals; regularly tracks and reports progress and performance of new initiatives

·Works with writers and graphic designers and oversees copywriting, design, layout, and production of promotional materials under the guidance of department leaders.

·Working command of media channels and their applications; provides effective direction to media partners to support marketing goals

·Actively seeks opportunities to generate PR for communities

·Demonstrated high level of proficiency in PC technology, and all MS Office applications as well as PowerPoint, SharePoint, Salesforce, CMS, Basecamp. Training provided as needed.

·Proficiency in Adobe Dreamweaver or like application

·Ability to write and understand HTML

·Experience and competency with graphic design a plus

·Excellent written and verbal communications skills

·Understanding of basic measurement and continuous process improvement methodology and practices

·Must possess a strong internal/external customer service orientation and commitment

·Excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills

·Ability to manage competing priorities and assignments

·Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected

·Must be able to consistently achieve high work standards

·Flexibility and adaptability to rapid change

·Enthusiastic, people person with ability to interact effectively across different mindsets and work styles.

·Attendance required at some key, high-profile weekend and evening events
