Assistant Manager

Duties:

- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the store runs smoothly
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
- Train and supervise team members to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and provide excellent service
- Manage inventory levels and ensure merchandise is properly stocked and displayed
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, making bank deposits, and reconciling cash drawers
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase sales and meet targets
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately

Skills:

- Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
- Experience with cash handling procedures and maintaining accurate financial records
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and techniques
- Proficiency in using POS systems for processing transactions
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues in a professional manner
- Experience conducting interviews and hiring new employees
- Previous experience in wireless sales is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
