Operations Assistant and Front of House Support

IZOLA Bakery is looking to hire a new team member to support in our inventory management, scheduling, and supplemented with some Front of House shifts as well. You will be responsible for managing our inventory levels and placing orders to ensure we stay in stock on all of our ingredients and supplies. You will receive orders, inspect them for accuracy and quality, and work directly with our vendors on any discrepancies. You'll learn how to build and maintain vendor relationships.

In addition, you will build and manage the staff schedule each week, working closely with our Assistant General Manager to identify any staffing challenges or shortages.

You will also be a key team member of our Front of House team where responsibilities include telling the IZOLA brand story, taking orders, delivering hot-from-the-oven croissants to our dine-in guests, making drinks, helping clean our space, assisting the team with the dishes, assembling our signature gable boxes. In short, helping the team succeed in its mission.

Must be very comfortable with computers and apps. While no prior experience with Google Sheets and Slack are required, must have the ability to learn these two systems.

We are looking for someone who is available 5 days a week. Length of shift is flexible, up to 8 hours. Part time or full time.

** Please note that we are currently renovating the bakery and our target re-opening date is end of May/early June (dependent on construction progress and permits). While we are hiring now for the inventory responsibilities, the hours will be part time until we open and can add the Front of House shifts to your schedule.**

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
