Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure meals meet nutritional requirements.
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and notify supervisor when items need to be replenished.
- Adhere to all food industry regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Skills:
-Japanese speaking is a major
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Basic knife skills for food preparation.
