SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for reviewing closed loan documents to ensure compliance in accordance with Investor guidelines and regulations and obtaining corrections when necessary. Responsible for the preparation and timely delivery of disclosures, credit, closing, and collateral material to investors or agencies within the department-required timeframes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures that all closed loans are compliant with federal, state laws and meet company policies and Investor guidelines.
• Reviews all closed loans for accuracy and completeness ensuring that all conditions have been met and the loans meet the company standard for quality.
• Assists with the clearing of Investor's requirements and requests; prevents and/or resolves issues as they arise.
• Verifies that all investor stipulations requested are valid and met to ensure that loans are saleable/purchased.
• Requests and follows up daily with title companies, Underwriters, Loan Processors and Closers on all outstanding documents for loans in “Ready for Post-Closing” status.
• Maintain department standard daily production and quality rates for shipping files. Ensures that loans are shipped by the 15 days from funding threshold set by the company.
• Keeps Management abreast of any and all Investors, title companies, or internal department-related trends or challenges.
• Collaborates with counterparts and managers to streamline the shipping process.
• Works independently and prioritizes work while meeting pre-established deadlines.
• Assists with other aspects of the Post Closing/Loan Delivery process on an as-needed basis.
• Cross-train in Final Docs or the Investor Suspense process.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three (3) years prior mortgage lending experience, including title
• Notary in the state of Wisconsin desired
• Ability to deliver effective results and to meet deadlines
• Reliable transportation
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Excellent phone and service skills
• Mathematical skills
