Itochu Building Products (IBP) Holdings has an immediate need of an experienced Pricing Specialist to work a hybrid schedule at the Dallas, TX headquarters.

Comprised of three subsidiary companies (Master Halco, Alta Forest Products, and US Premier Tube Mills), Itochu Building Products is the largest leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of fencing products in North America.

The Pricing Specialist will assist the company with achieving the best bottom line by utilizing data to assist with the pricing of our products.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains the pricing structure in the company’s ERP system
• Communicates with Branch Managers daily and supports them with the maintenance of their pricing information
• Utilizes reports to fix any errors in the ERP system
• Utilizes reports to identify the area where the margin can be maximized by pricing properly
• Utilize reports to improve the efficiency for both HQ and branches
• Support the Pricing team to develop tools for both HQ and branches to review and change the price settings in the ERP system
• Ensures that the data integrity in the system by maintaining mass data in Excel using SQL
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science/analytics, engineering, or related field 
• 2 plus years of related experience and/or training
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including VBA/Macro, as well as SQL and Microsoft
• Ability to work with large volume of data
• Strong organizational and communications skills
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
