ITL Solutions is a fast-growing Defense Contractor who is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant with experience in Federal Government contracting. ITL Solutions is looking for a motivated individual to support our accounting department for our US Military and Federal Government Customers. The Accounting Assistant will work closely with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Orders, and Purchasing departments. Experience with Military and Federal Government contracting, and in the Maritime, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) or Computer Hardware sectors is preferred, but not required.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Office.
• Working within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Government Contracts.
• Able to read and interpret instructions.
• Interested in solving problems.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Fast learner with excellent communication skills.
• Position will be primarily in the office, but may work some in the warehouse.
• Familiarity with NSNs, Military Standards, Labeling and Packaging is desired, but not necessary.
• Background and reference checks will be conducted. Ethics is part of annual performance appraisals.

Qualifications

• Operational knowledge of and practical use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software, Microsoft Office Suite, and practical use of the Internet. Knowledge of Odoo ERP software is desired, but not necessary.
• Familiarization with government buying and purchasing is preferred, but not necessary.
• A Valid Drivers’ license.
• Ability to gain access to and drive aboard Federal Government /Military Installations.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
