ITEOM is Hiring a Remote Manager - Advanced Tech Support (MS)

Our client is seeking a Manager of Advanced Tech Support for their large enterprise, supporting all end user services associated with the Microsoft Suite of products. The role involves overseeing the organization’s business services, technical assets and contracts related to IT Operations and Endpoint Technology. Responsibilities include setting service objectives aligned with the firm’s business outcomes and strategies, monitoring performance metrics to achieve these objectives, managing total delivered costs, identifying and mitigating risks, and driving ongoing process improvements.

Location: Travel to the company’s various locations may be necessary for attending business-related meetings and conferences.

Salary:  REMOTE opportunity 115-140K bonus and benefits

How you’ll do it: You'll drive strategic planning, optimize user experience, and manage Autopilot deployments to ensure seamless operations and enhanced productivity. 

M365 Program Management

  • Develop and execute strategic program management strategies for M365 services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships and stay updated on product roadmaps and licensing changes.

User Experience Enhancement

  • Prioritize user experience and collaborate with end users to enhance usability and satisfaction.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms and utilize data to drive improvements.
  • Develop training programs to maximize M365 capabilities and promote efficient workflows.

Microsoft Autopilot Deployment Environment

  • Oversee Autopilot deployments, ensuring seamless device provisioning and configuration.
  • Implement policies aligned with security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and collaborate with IT support teams to resolve deployment challenges.
Leadership and Communication
  • Guide and mentor a team of 2-4 engineers and project managers to implement policies, enhance end user experience, and modernize/streamline systems and support of MS tools. 
  • Communicate effective change management so that end users can seamlessly adopt use and functionality of all MS tools. Your audience may be technical/non-technical and communication is key for adoption.
  • Presentation development and delivery to stakeholders and leadership as needed. 

What We’re looking for:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills possessing the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Proven track record in enhancing user experiences within M365 applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Autopilot deployment and management.
  • Familiarity with Azure AD, Intune, and other M365 services.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert are a plus. 

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
