ITE Management, a leading investment manager and private equity firm specializing in the acquisition of transportation equipment and asset operating platforms in the infrastructure sector, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their Finance & Accounting team in New York. Founded in 2014, ITE targets real asset investment opportunities that are cash yielding with downside protection, and benefit from a team with deep, longstanding relationships and financial and operating expertise. Today, the firm manages over $9bn of assets globally across rail, intermodal, aviation, and emerging technology strategies with office locations in NYC, Chicago and St. Louis.
The Accounting Manager position will report to the Controller. You will be responsible for providing hands-on leadership and financial reporting, which includes US GAAP accounting, oversight of the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, expense reporting & and analysis, investments, and coordination of external audits. In addition to these core responsibilities, the position will play a key role in implementing financial systems and spearheading process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage and lead the preparation of combined financial statements including the Balance Sheet, Statement of Income, and Statement of Cash Flows.
•Oversee and execute the monthly close process and ensure it is completed in a timely manner with the proper accruals and other journal entries, bank reconciliations, fixed asset and depreciation reconciliations, reporting and account review and analysis (such as cost of goods sold and sg&a).
•Support leadership team with timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close process.
•Execute in the development and implementation of:
•Internal controls
•Manage annual and monthly budgeting and cash flow projections.
•Support leadership in completing special projects and analysis requests; serving as main point of contact.
•Treasury and Cash Management: update all bank account cash balances weekly, prepare ACH and wire transfer transactions.
•Review and recommend changes and improvements to financial and accounting policies, processes, and procedures to meet internal and exporting requirements. This will include implementing new financial systems, financial accounting, and budgeting processes.
•Manage audits of the business by working closely with external auditing firms at all stages for the purpose of guaranteeing accuracy in reporting. Act as the primary liaison for external auditors during operational and financial audits.

• Ensure compliance of financial covenants for all banking arrangements.

Salary Range:
Estimated base salary range for this position is: $100,000-$140,000. Employees may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

Your skills and abilities should include:

• Minimum seven (7) years management experience in Accounting and Finance.
• Thorough knowledge of both US GAAP and Lease Accounting mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• Public accounting experience (Big Four or large Regional firm) and CPA
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Prior system implementation experience as well as experience in improving financial accounting reporting processes.
• Strong business and collaboration skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• High proficiency in Excel
