DescriptionControl EngineerJob Type: Fixed Term – 12 MonthsLocation: Galway - OnsiteThe Role As a Control Engineer, you will assist the Equipment Engineering department in the design, manufacture, and testing of manufacturing equipment to produce medical devices.Key responsibilities:Contribute to Control Platform design and deliver automation solutions for equipment designs and equipment update. Participate in equipment design reviews, deliver equipment documentation under quality SOPs and following GDP. Take a role in the design, build & commissioning of manufacturing equipment.Develop PLC, HMI/SCADA code according to User Requirement Specifications.Contribute to the Electrical and Safety design of new Equipment and equipment upgrades.Work closely with the customer to understand requirements and propose creative and cost-effective solutions.Participate in cross-functional Design Reviews.Manage your own time effectively across multiple projects.Work with the PM to develop schedules for implementing solutions.Generate concepts and quotations for new and upgraded equipment.Participate in Equipment Troubleshooting Activity.
