Job description

As a Direct Care Worker (caregiver, provider) you will be in charge of supervising an individual on a 1 to 1 basis in the family home or within the community. Your specific job duties will vary because the care requirments for each person are individualized.

Schedule

We have multiple positions available as respite, habilitation and/or attendant care providers, meaning the individual may require assistance with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in a non-medical capacity, require constant supervision, or you may be helping the individual learn an essential life skill like counting money or brushing their teeth!

General job duties can include

• Assist with transporting individuals (Optional)
• Assistance with housekeeping, feeding, changing, showering, and ambulation (Depending on the individual - not all placements)
• Assisting or overseeing individuals as they do homework, general tasks, chores etc. (Depending on the individual)
• Specific job duties will be communicated upon hire, you may accept or decline job offers, locations or shifts at any time.
• Other job duties as needed

Requirements

• 18 yrs of age or older
• Able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Willing to obtain CPR/1st Aid & AED Certifications
• Article 9 Certification (Training Provided)

Our business office is located on 759 N. Lindsay Road, Mesa, 85213. This is where hiring, onboarding, and training will be held. In-home assignment locations will vary depending on individual needs but will typically be at one location. Currently open positions are in San Tan Valley, Queen Creek, Maricopa (city) and areas south of the 202 San Tan Freeway. We always try to place providers near their home area.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
