JOB TITLE: Business Relationship Manager - TAP 

GOVERNMENT AGENCY: DOJ LESIS (Law Enforcement Services & Information Sharing)

POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Position; Government contractor supporting DOJ LESIS

LOCATION: Remote

POSITION TIMING: Position requires DOJ Public Trust clearance; candidate can start once complete (2-4 weeks)

ITC is seeking a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to be a member of our LESIS team supporting our customer at the Department of Justice. This will provide day to day support to tribal agencies under DOJ’s Tribal Access Program for National Crime Information (TAP).

Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Law Enforcement Services and Information Sharing (LESIS) Section serves as the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Systems Agency (CSA) for hundreds of DOJ, as well as other Federal and Tribal public safety agencies and entities. It is responsible for establishing and administering an information technology security program across its User Agencies while providing the technical capabilities to access national crime information systems for authorized criminal and non-criminal justice purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Each BRM serves as TAP liaison for approximately 19 Tribes and is responsible for providing timely updates to all stakeholders including DOJ management as well as the DOJ TAP funding partners. There are currently 123 Tribes participating in TAP with additional Tribes added on an annual basis.
  • Building relationships with all organizations within the Tribe; remote and onsite training; dissemination of all training and communications; assistance in developing Tribal policy documentation; audit support; as needed dispatch support during system outages; coordination of onsite installation of kiosk and software.
  • Provides account management of approximately 60 accounts per Tribe. Includes: Creating/removing CSAT, NCIC certification, LEEP accounts, Kiosk accounts including JABS/CAS, as well as password resets.
  • Hosts and presents onsite and remote 30 monthly large group meetings, webinars and one on one training events.
  • One BRM is responsible for management of the TAP BIA Special Project. This includes providing support for DOI/BIA as well as the 10 Tribes participating in the TAP BIA Special Project. Manages the OBV process for new locations/ORIs (as needed) and provides training/support for 43 O&M locations.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of workstation deployment processes, training curriculum and development, end user training requirements; can meet milestones and deliverables.
  • Experience with Criminal Justice Environment, Law Enforcement Services. (NCIC, NGI, N-DEx, NICS, CJIS Security Policy, non-criminal justice agencies, NLETS)
  • Understanding of and experience applying the CJIS Security Policy
  • Knowledge of FBI CJIS organization and structure for each CJIS System
  • Business Relationship Management experience
  • At least 5 years of experience that includes: An understanding of criminal justice and non-criminal justice agency processes.
  • Microsoft skills – Word, Excel, developing Power Point presentations for senior level executives, developing training presentations.
  • Experience with Share Point 2016
  • Organized, Self-starter
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear written and oral communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Trainer/faculty/presenter experience
  • Ability to obtain a DOJ public trust clearance; candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer's Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer.

Desired:

  • Experience working with federally recognized tribes.
  • Willingness to learn and desire to work with underserved populations.
