Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and promoting their independence. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning clients
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate supervisor
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of caregiving techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or client needs
